Design of a Diaspora 2.0

"The truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed."---
Eminem
As you've probably noticed by now, I do enjoy 2-piece outfits baring my mid section and this outfit is indifferent.

I have been spoiled by the creative designer for Design of a Diaspora. This outfit was courtesy of her! I love not only the print of the outfit but also the cut and the length. I had been eyeing something similar on Topshop for a while and thankfully I got this one for free! The V-neck adds a touch of flirtiness and the skirt length is appropriate enough for work-I tested it,lol.
I really couldn't think of which other pair of heels to pair the set with so played it safe with my usual nude ones.

Design of a Diaspora

Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it. Life is a dream - realize it. Life is a sacrifice - offer it. Life is love - enjoy it.----

Hello Skinny bishers! I just wanted to do a quick post on print mixing and creating a different look with the same crop top I wore in the last post and the Asos pants I wore a few weeks ago. This is more of a funky/concert/summer night out look. **Plus I've been working that stomach so I got to show it off! Haha*

Neon lights

Happy Sunday lovelies! Aren't you guys lucky, 2 posts in 2 days! That's a record.

This post is a little overdue because I wore this outfit last week but just didn't have the time to post it.
This summer is really about sets for me and this bustier is actually a gift from the designer at Design of a Diaspora. She is super talented and sweet and meant to give me the entire set as a gift but unfortunately, due to my heavy *ahem "endowments" down south, the shorts didn't fit. I settled for the top because the print is very unique and reminds me of the women back home in my village who pound corn to make meal.
I found a way to pair the bustier with my old American apparel skirt (which was way overpriced but I digress...)
  Enjoy the shots.
XOXO

So picturesque!

**I was playing around with different settings on my camera so excuse some of the images if they look over exposed :)
